How to Replace your Whole House Filters in 7 Easy Steps

Step 1 - turn off the water going into the system at either the water main or if you have a bypass fitted at the inlet valve (the plumber fitting the system should show you how easy it is to do this)
Step 2 - press down on the small red button on top of the first filter housing to release the pressure
Step 3 - loosen the first housing using the supplied housing wrench then unscrew by hand and remove the housing
Step 4 - tip out the water, remove the cartridge and give the housing a rinse out with a hose or tap
Step 5 - replace the cartridge with the corresponding new cartridge and screw the cartridge back up by hand
Step 6 - repeat this process for each housing
Step 7.- turn the water back on and check for any leaks - if required the housings may be tightened using the wrench supplied but do not use excessive force and over tighten

Note: try to keep the cartridges vertical when screwing up the housings and if the housings are resistant stop and check the cartridges are not misaligned.
